  • Gain confidence in developing culturally safe environments where Aboriginal perspectives are woven meaningfully and authentically into daily routines and curriculum.
  • Explore how connecting to Country can support children’s sense of identity, growth, and holistic understanding.
  • Appreciate the critical importance of integrating Aboriginal perspectives into early childhood education.

  • Consider the importance of building and maintaining respectful relationships with local Aboriginal communities, emphasising ways of working to encourage ongoing, meaningful engagement.

At the end of the workshop educators will have gained the confidence and practical tools to embed Aboriginal perspectives effectively, creating learning environments that promote cultural safety, respect, and inclusion.
