Wingaru Kids Home Education is a 12-month subscription that provides authentic Aboriginal education resources to support. It encourages children to explore Aboriginal content through a carefully curated collection of curriculum-aligned lessons appropriate for primary-school-aged students, from Kindergarten to Year 6.
The high-quality content is created by Aboriginal educators, is engaging and exciting for learners, and delivers accurate knowledge about Aboriginal People and culture. Lessons are presented in a Watch-Play-Learn format, which is widely recognised as an important learning technique.
A comprehensive guide is also provided to support parents and carers with curriculum alignment and reporting, as well as to explore each lesson topic further.
While lessons are designed to be cumulative and build on learning in previous years, they do not rely on previous knowledge and can be taught independently. This provides parents and carers with the flexibility to decide which lessons are appropriate for their children, how many lessons will be used and in what order.
